Abstract
Tavegyl¢ç(1-methyl-2-{2-(a-methyl-p-chlorodiphenyl methyloxy) ethyl} pyrrolidine) is a new drug known to have potent antihistaminic effect with minimal sedative side effect which was developed recently in England. According to the report of Roeman & Weidmann, it had more potent degree of antihistaminic effect than that of classic antihistamines such as Chlorpheniramine or Thenalidine, and Coller claimed that it had less side reactions such as sedation than these drugs.

The results are summarized as follows:
1) Tavegyl¢ç had effect on 35(79.5%)"out of 44 total cases, on 14 (70%) out of 20 Allergic rhinitis cases, on 14(100%) out of 14 Acute urticaria cases, on 3 (100%) out of 3 Hay fever. cases and 1 (50%) out of 2 Fixed drug eruption cases, and no effect on the Eczema 1 case & the Ca ttact dermatitis 1 case.
